Arlington's School Improvement Plan

Arlington's School Improvement Plan is the written strategies developed by the Principal, faculty, parents, and community representatives to comply with Indiana PL 221. During the 1999-2000 Arlington received a grant from the Indiana Student Achievement Institute (InSAI) for the purpose of developing a plan using the InSAI model. The model, approved by the State of Indiana, provides for the school to analyze student achievement, 16 major features of the school program or "force fields," and to lead powerful discussions with members of the school staff and school community that are centered on school reform. In June 2002, the school submitted its plan to the state and received approval.
