Vision Statement
Arlington Elementary School cares deeply for its students and their
families. The faculty and staff are dedicated to look for the best in
everyone, to build on each of our strengths, to provide many opportunities
for fulfillment, and to make certain that all students experience success
in a variety of ways.
Our staff is caring, loving, and exemplifies the habits
of lifelong learning as we continue our pursuit of knowledge to better
meet the special needs and gifts for all our students. We are determined
to provide the best possible education by encouraging our students to
become creative problem solvers, effective decision makers, tolerant
citizens, and critical thinkers.
Our students develop a healthy attitude
toward themselves, empathy toward others, a curiosity toward the world of
ideas, and a desire to contribute to the common good. Their schooling has
been enriched by a diverse interdisciplinary curriculum directed toward
developing positive habits of mind, heart, voice, and work. Arlington
students look forward to the future with confidence as they learn to
inquire about their world, set goals for themselves, and accomplish them.
